Internal Consulting Systems Engineer
We are seeking anInternal Consulting Systems Engineerto support, evolve, and automate solutions and tools that optimizepre-sales department workflows. This role blendscybersecurity expertise, systems engineering, and software development, with a strong focus onautomation, reliability, and secure-by-design solutions.
You will work closely with pre-sales stakeholders and internal systems engineers to design, build, and operate scalable platforms that improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enable secure technical operations across the organization.
Responsibilities
Solution & Platform Engineering
- Support, maintain, and continuously improve internal solutions and tools used acrosssales and pre-sales organizations.
- Design and implementautomation-first solutionsto streamline workflows, reduce operational friction, and improve consistency.
- Own solutions across the fullsoftware development lifecycle (SDLC): requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Security & Systems Operations
- Troubleshoot complexsecurity, network, and system issuesin primarily Linux-based environments.
- Contribute to secure system architectures involvingvirtualization, containers, and networked services.
- Leadfirewall management, including policy design, rule optimization, auditing, and advanced troubleshooting.
Software Development & Automation
- Develop and enhance internal platforms, APIs, and automation usingPython (Django)andRuby on Rails.
- Apply secure coding practices, code reviews, and automated testing to ensure reliability and maintainability.
- Integrate solutions with existing infrastructure, tools, and services across Linux, Windows, and macOS environments.
Enablement & Collaboration
- Participate in solution validation, internal demonstrations, and technical enablement activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate operational and security needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Produce clear documentation and operational runbooks to support adoption and long-term maintainability.
Required Skills & Experience
- Senior-level experience incybersecurity, with strong expertise infirewalls, network security, and incident troubleshooting.
- Strong background inautomation and software engineering, including proficiency inPython (Django)andRuby on Rails.
- Solid understanding ofSDLC best practices, including version control (git and mecurial), testing, and deployment strategies.
- AdvancedLinux system administrationskills; ability to integrate withWindows and macOSenvironments when required.
- Strong troubleshooting skills acrossinfrastructure, network, and application layers.
- Hands-on experience withvirtualization and container technologies.

- Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal contexts.
Nice to Have
- Experience withDevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Exposure todata science or AIapplied to security analytics or workflow optimization.
