Network System Engineer

Bizzdesign is looking for a highly skilled Network & System Engineer to join our international IT and Infrastructure team. This role is designed for a technically advanced professional capable of managing complex enterprise networks, global SaaS systems, and secure IT infrastructures across multiple regions.

The Role – What You’ll Do

• Designing, configuring, and managing enterprise network architectures across multiple locations
• Maintaining servers, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, hybrid)
• Monitoring network and system performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing high-availability solutions
• Managing firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and security protocols to safeguard critical infrastructure
• Supporting IT automation, scripting, and infrastructure-as-code initiatives (Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell)
• Implementing and monitoring backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies
• Collaborating with DevOps, Security, and IT teams to optimize network performance, security, and compliance
• Documenting network configurations, system architectures, and operational procedures for global teams
• Evaluating and integrating emerging technologies to improve system efficiency, security, and scalability

About You – What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field
• 5–8+ years of experience in enterprise network and system engineering
• Fluency in English, French, and German (verbal and written), additional languages a plus
• Expertise in enterprise networks, routing/switching, VLANs, firewalls, and WAN/LAN architectures
• Hands‑on experience with servers, virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V), storage systems, and cloud infrastructure
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform)
• Experience with security frameworks, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and compliance standards
• Knowledge of high‑availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across global, cross‑functional teams
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Splunk, or equivalent)
