Interim Chief Financial Officer

Finatal are seeking a highly experienced Interim CFO to join a private equity-backed SaaS business in France during a critical transformation phase.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the financial carve-out process , ensuring a smooth transition to a standalone entity
• Build and establish a robust finance function, systems, and reporting infrastructure
• Partner closely with the CEO and private equity sponsors to drive strategic decision-making
• Develop high-quality board reporting, forecasting, and KPI frameworks typical of PE-backed environments
• Support M&A activity as part of a potential buy-and-build strategy

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience as CFO or senior finance leader in a SaaS business
• Prior experience in a private equity-backed company is essential
• Experience working in businesses with revenues exceeding €100M preferred
• Strong track record in carve-outs, separations, or complex corporate transitions
• Alternatively, significant experience in aggressive buy-and-build or M&A-driven environments
• Comfortable operating in high-growth, fast-moving environments with demanding stakeholders
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to build credibility quickly
