• Design, deploy and evolve modern integration and API platforms based on API-first, event-driven and cloud-native architectures
• Advise clients on the selection, adoption and implementation of API Management and integration platforms (Kong, Apigee, Mulesoft, Gravitee, Azure APIM, etc.)
• Define end-to-end integration architectures leveraging microservices, asynchronous messaging, event streaming and workflow automation
• Modernise legacy integration patterns (ESB, SFTP, ETL) towards scalable, resilient API- and event-based A2A communication
• Integrate AI-assisted and agentic automation models to support integration discovery, mapping, testing, governance and monitoring
• Ensure security, reliability, performance and observability of integration components (API gateways, brokers, workflows)
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, GitOps practices and Infrastructure as Code for API and integration lifecycle automation
• Provide technical leadership to clients and internal teams, contributing to architecture decisions and delivery excellence

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in API architectures, integration patterns and distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with API Management and Gateway platforms (Kong, Apigee, Mulesoft, Azure APIM, etc.)
• Solid knowledge of REST, GraphQL, gRPC, AsyncAPI and event-driven technologies such as Kafka or cloud messaging services
• Experience designing and operating cloud-native architectures on AWS, Azure and/or GCP
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps/SRE practices, Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm)
• Proven ability to design secure, reliable and scalable integration platforms
• Experience migrating legacy integration systems to modern API- and event-driven architectures
• Exposure to AI-assisted development, MCP, LLM integration or agent-based automation is considered an asset
