Insurance Accounting Manager

• Oversee life insurance accounting (premiums, claims/benefits, reserves, commissions, reinsurance)
• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual accounting close processes
• Produce financial and prudential reporting
• Ensure accounting and regulatory compliance
• Strengthen first-line controls and the quality of financial data
• Coordinate communications with statutory auditors, external accountants and financial stakeholders
• Participate in the transformation and automation of accounting processes
• Contribute to the improvement of reporting and management tools

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience in life insurance accounting
• Experience with an insurer or a specialized audit firm
• Strong understanding of prudential and regulatory requirements
