Instrumentation Installation Engineering

We are looking for an experienced Instrumentation Installation Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the design, coordination, and execution of instrumentation installation activities on major industrial energy projects.

In this role, you will act as the discipline engineer, ensuring that all instrumentation installation aspects comply with client requirements while meeting quality, schedule, and budget targets.

Act as the Discipline Engineer for instrumentation installation within EPC projects.

Work on 3D models for instrumentation (clash management, support to modeling activities across engineering centers).

Perform material take-off (MTO) for bulk instrumentation.

Review technical room layouts and installation drawings.

Validate routing volumes and installation layouts.

Prepare and update installation standards (hook-ups, supports, routing).

Ensure proper follow-up and coordination of P&IDs.

Participate in P&ID reviews and multidisciplinary coordination meetings.

Interface with Civil, Electrical, Piping teams and external engineering centers.

Support design studies and review equipment drawings.

Contribute to design optimization and technical consistency across disciplines.

Update technical specifications and standard drawings (hook-ups, supports, installation details).

Qualifications

• Degree: Engineering degree (Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical or equivalent).
• Experience: Strong experience in Oil & Gas projects with a focus on instrumentation installation.
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation installation (cabling, cable trays, hook-ups, layout studies, building integration).
• Good understanding of applicable international standards (API, IEC, etc.).
• Experience with AutoCAD and ODICE tools.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling software.
• Ability to review technical documentation and coordinate across multiple disciplines.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Good understanding of project execution phases (FEED, execution, construction).
