Innovation Financing Consultant – Electronics Specialist

• Understand clients’ R&D projects and identify activities that qualify as research for tax purposes
• Assess and quantify expenses eligible for the Research Tax Credit (RTC)
• Analyze risks and quantify recoverable amounts
• Draft technical arguments substantiating the R&D nature of the work
• Support clients during audits conducted by experts appointed by the government
• Manage a diverse portfolio of innovative companies in telecommunications, signal processing, embedded systems, and connected technologies
• Liaise with R&D, Finance, and Executive Management teams
• Contribute to business development through publications and events, as well as by improving internal tools and processes
• Gradually develop a network within the Research and Innovation ecosystem

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an engineering school or university, or a PhD
• Specialization in electronics, telecommunications, or embedded systems is required
• Experience in a similar position, or at least 2 years of industry experience in one of the fields mentioned above
• Project analysis skills
• Understanding of technological challenges
• Complex project management skills
• Ability to identify technical issues
• Strong ability to formalize and synthesize information
• Ability to communicate with technical teams and R&D, Finance, and executive-level stakeholders
