Ingénieur Technologue Installation Pipeline H/F

Position Summary

Le poste est basé au siège de TotalEnergies, branche One Tech, et couvre un large spectre de responsabilités incluant études techniques, support aux projets, support aux filiales, initiatives R&D et activités référentiels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage pipeline, riser, cable, and flexible installation projects across all phases (FEED, tendering, execution, commissioning, decommissioning).
• Conduct development studies, including screening, conceptual and pre‑project phases for offshore, onshore, gas, LNG, power and CO₂ lines.
• Provide technical support and expertise to project teams and TotalEnergies affiliates on all installation‑related matters.
• Drive innovation and contribute to R&D initiatives to advance pipeline technologies.
• Maintain and update the Pipeline & Risers Referential (General Specifications).
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with petroleum architects, flow‑assurance experts, geologists, geophysicists, cost engineers, HSE, and external stakeholders such as engineering firms, equipment vendors, and standards bodies.
• Manage budgets, schedules, workload planning, and quality control of departmental deliverables.
• Lead technical coordination with external contractors, oversee audits, and develop technical databases.
• Engage in internal and external recruitment, and draft technical sections of contracts and specifications.
• Support operational maintenance, fault detection, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
• Fluency in English; French is a plus.
• Strong technical background in pipeline and riser design, installation engineering, stress analysis, and installation methods (S‑lay, J‑lay, Reel‑lay, tow‑out, bottom‑pull, shore approach).
• Extensive knowledge of environmental and hydrodynamic loads, metocean data, and their impact on installation operations.
• Experience with industry standard software (OrcaFlex, OFFPIPE, SIMLA) for vessel and installation analysis.
• Proficiency in preparing installation procedures, method statements, engineering reports, task plans, risk assessments, and technical qualification documentation.
• Certification in international standard and codes related to Pipeline & Risers design and fitness‑for‑purpose assessment (onshore and offshore).
• Established ability to lead internal and external networks, analyze complex projects, and drive solution implementation.
• Strong communication, teamwork and HSE orientation.
