Process Engineer – Ref. JOB-1416

Join ALDEBARAN Group as a Process Engineer and take part in large‑scale international EPC projects from Paris.

Your Missions

• Perform sizing calculations for lines, equipment (pumps, exchangers, separators, etc.) and instruments (control valves, safety valves, etc.).
• Run process simulations using HYSYS.
• Write design bases, process descriptions, material/energy balances, and utility balances.
• Produce and update PFDs and P&IDs in coordination with draftsmen.
• Prepare process data for technical datasheets of equipment and instruments.
• Develop fluid, line, equipment and instrument lists.
• Write safety logic diagrams.
• Participate in technical interfaces with other disciplines.
• Contribute to communication and documentation in English.

Your Experience

• At least 5 years of confirmed experience in process safety engineering within the oil, gas or energy industry.
• Strong understanding of P&IDs: piping, equipment, instruments, control and safety loops.
• Proficiency with simulation tools.
• Knowledge of fire and gas detection systems and fire protection.
• Mastery of international safety codes and standards.

Your Profile

• Engineering degree or Master’s in Process Engineering.
• Fluent in English.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to multicultural project teams.
• Proficient with standard office software tools.
