Ingénieur Méthode Principal – Opérations de Levage Lourds
We are looking for a Method Lead Engineer to join a FPSO Project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and supervising heavy lift and installation methodologies to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
This role requires a motivated professional with strong technical expertise, the ability to work autonomously, and excellent coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
Lead the preparation and validation of heavy lift and installation methods for FPSO-related operations.
Develop detailed engineering documentation, including method statements, lifting studies, procedures, and risk assessments.
Provide technical support to construction and installation teams during project preparation and execution phases.
Ensure compliance with project requirements, company standards, and international HSE regulations.
Collaborate closely with other project disciplines (Installation, HSE, Subcontracts, Procurement, etc.) to optimize operations and ensure project success.
Act as the primary technical reference for heavy lift activities within the project scope.
Profile:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Structural, Marine, or equivalent).
Experience: Proven experience in a similar role within the Oil & Gas industry, preferably on FPSO or offshore projects.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of lifting operations and offshore construction methods.
Proficiency in standard engineering tools (AutoCAD, Excel, or equivalent).
Ability to review and validate technical documentation.
Languages:
Fluent in English & French (spoken and written).
Certifications:
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate (OGUK certified).
