Water Technologies - OTV designs and constructs water treatment plants (waste and potable water). For the Centre‑Ouest Oceans region (base in Rennes), we are looking for an engineer‑commercial in water treatment.

In the Regional Directorate Centre‑Ouest Oceans, the Commercial Engineer’s primary missions are to prospect new clients and markets, promote a commercial offering, negotiate and conclude contracts, develop and sustain client relationships, and support the development of new services.

In coordination with the Commercial Director:

Techniques

• Implement and ensure compliance with commercial methods and processes in line with Group policy.
• Deploy the necessary means to achieve performance and commercial objectives.
• May supervise engineers in preparing offers and negotiating contracts and commercial addendums.
• Lead reviews of offers and/or commercial contracts.
• Ensure monitoring and execution of all defined commercial actions.
• Participate in the preparation and refinement of markets based on opportunities and risks.
• Coordinate the development of commercial offers.
• Develop and sustain relationships with key partners, clients, and institutions.
• Monitor and analyze market and competition trends.
• Identify and develop new commercial opportunities and research potential clients.
• Maintain a watch on evolving and new products and processes.
• Participate in post‑event reviews.
• Provide regular reporting to the Regional Director.

• Apply rules related to compliance.

Qualifications

Diplôme d’Ingénieur, bac+4/+5 (Master, école de commerce) specialized in water treatment, with confirmed commercial experience, ideally in water treatment.

• Mastery of contractual management and associated legal aspects.
• Proficiency with IT tools (communication and collaboration tools such as G Suite).
• Professional English proficiency.
• Contractual training to manage multiple interfaces.
• Mastery of compliance rules.
• Knowledge of water treatment.
• Knowledge of engineering methods.
• Negotiation and profitability acumen.
• Dialogue skills.
• Project management mastery.
• Commercial and marketing techniques mastery.
• Professional/technical English competence.
