Industrial Program Manager
Job Description
The role will be based in our site in Cholet, France, and a consistent presence on the plant is strictly required.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the project managers of the ‘Equipment’ stream (machines, molds, flows), ensuring alignment, consistency, and synergy with the other projects and initiatives of the other streams. As a project coordinator, the position holder fully integrates HSE requirements and ensures their rigorous application.
- Take full accountability for achieving targeted savings and delivering on initiatives. Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) versus Targets. Investigate for corrective actions and escape when needed.
- Actively participate in the Master Plan committee and lead the “Obeya room” sessions for project tracking and progress reviews.
- Identify major risks in the project planning and execution and propose corrective action plans to mitigate them.
- Define, monitor, and optimize the use of the CAPEX envelope assigned to the stream.
- With the support of the change practitioner, the job holder will lead the change from a business point of view in terms of stakeholders and impact on the rest of the organization.
- Cooperate effectively with both internal departments involved and external stakeholders and suppliers to reach the main projects objectives.
Requirements
- University Master’s degree in Engineering or Science disciplines is required.
- 8‑10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, driving major CAPEX projects, preferably in a fast‑paced and dynamic industrial environment.
- Experience working in complex, international and multi‑stakeholder environment.
- Proficiency in English and French is a must.
- Consolidated experience in leading and supporting people in key transformation is crucial to the role.
- Project Management and/or Lean Manufacturing certifications are considered a plus.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to engage and unite teams together with strong stakeholders management skills are pivotal.
- Expertise in project management and performance monitoring tools is required.
- Solid understanding of industrial processes and CAPEX investment management.
- Results‑driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
