Immigration Attorney

Salary up to $225,000, depending on experience, plus managerial and partnership opportunity.

Gendelberg Law is seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney to join our immigration law firm, dedicated primarily to affirmative and defensive asylum representation.

We are looking for an attorney who is passionate about helping clients, enjoys litigation and advocacy, and wants to build a long-term career with a firm that values professional growth and rewards hard work.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction (New York admission is not required).
• We will consider candidates who have already passed a U.S. bar examination and are awaiting formal admission (applicants who have not yet taken a U.S. bar examination including current JD or LL.M. students awaiting the bar exam will not be considered).
• Required experience with affirmative and defensive asylum.
• Experience with the following is strongly preferred but is not required: fluency in a foreign language, appeals, habeas corpus, VAWA, marriage-based immigration, and other humanitarian matters.

Schedule

This is a full-time in office position, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Hybrid or remote is not permitted.
