HR Business Partner – France (EMEA Scope)
We are partnering on a confidential search for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to be based in Paris, supporting multiple countries across the EMEA region.
This role is ideal for a seasoned HR professional who thrives in a dynamic, multi-country environment and enjoys partnering closely with business leaders to translate enterprise priorities into effective local execution.
About the Role
Reporting to the Global HR Director and working closely with a global HR team, this individual will:
- Partner with regional leaders on workforce planning, team effectiveness, and organizational alignment
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters across assigned countries
- Guide managers on performance management, policy interpretation, and disciplinary processes
- Ensure compliance with regional employment legislation and company standards
- Support Works Council setup and engagement in France
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure coordinated and compliant HR operations
- Leverage workforce analytics and digital tools to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency
Success in this role requires strong judgment, discretion, responsiveness, and the ability to operate confidently within diverse regulatory environments.
What We’re Looking For
- 5–8+ years of HR generalist/HRBP experience
- Strong knowledge of regional employment law (France + broader EMEA exposure)
- Experience establishing or working with a Works Council in France
- Background in multinational or global organizations
- Comfort navigating complex employee relations matters
- Digital fluency and interest in intelligent automation tools
- Willingness to travel (<20%)
