HR Country Partner / Manager for France
Scope of HR Operations
- Individual relationships: from employee joining the company to employee leaving it (excluding talent acquisition and payroll duties)
- Collective relationships: WC, collective agreement, etc.
- Local and global compliance
- Support HR global processes
Duties and Responsibilities
- Cascade all HR global processes (merit, performance, HR organisation, engagement) & policies and support implementation.
- Look for opportunities to continuously improve speed of delivery and simplify current HR practices and policies.
- Stay current on regulatory changes and all labor laws; update and ensure internal compliance working closely with legal and compliance.
- Own, create and revise local HR policies; serve as expert and interpret policy as needed.
- Process HR related cases, like hiring, transfers, separations, etc., under consideration of labor law and collective bargaining agreement, administrative implementation by preparing employment relevant documents might be required.
- Support managers in your perimeter on individual relationships (promotion, performance improvement, disciplinary, separations, policy interpretation).
- Prepare and attend WC meetings for 2 companies, and prepare for the 2 others.
- Follow and trigger actions regarding social calendar for mandatory negotiations and collective agreements.
- Support WC audits with data and interview.
- Support investigations in case of disrespect of Ethics code or regulations.
- Work closely with HRBPs for your organisation to maintain a good level of information exchange and alignment.
- Work closely with COEs (main collaborations: Comp & Ben, Global mobility, Payroll) on specific processes.
- Identify, lead or participate in internal projects and workstreams as needed.
About You
- Extensive experience as HR manager in France.
- Knowledge of metallurgy CBA (3 companies out of the 3 are applying it).
- Important experience in collective relationships with unions and WC required.
- Fluent in French and English.
- Ability to develop, deploy, and maintain aligned compliant HR programs and processes.
- Ability to positively influence peers, managers, employees, and trade unions/works councils.
- Ability to identify and drive alignment across complex groups while ensuring compliance.
- Ability to navigate between hands‑on activities, projects and tactics.
