Certification & Qualification Engineer (CQE)

Responsibilities

• Define and establish the Certification Program (CP) for each project by identifying the applicable certification basis and necessary Means of Compliance.
• Coordinate a diverse group of high‑level stakeholders, including Chief Engineering, System Design Responsibles, Experts, Customer Support, and Flight Test Pilots & Engineers.
• Ensure harmonisation of the certification strategy with all relevant Certification Verification Engineers.
• Plan, manage, and track the progress of compliance activities; resolve roadblocks and guarantee on‑time delivery of certifications.
• Review, release and consolidate all compliance documentation, declare compliance at the helicopter level, and consolidate demonstration results.
• Exercise the Design Organisation Approval (DOA) privilege to approve design changes.

Qualifications

• Significant engineering experience, preferably in aerospace certification (FAR29/CS29, or FAR25/CS25 considered a major asset).
• Proven ability to lead projects and manage multiple interfaces.
• Rigorous, highly organised, and excellent communication skills.
