Job Description
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Helicopters Certification & Qualification Engineer (CQE) (H/F) to join our Certification Technical Directorate Team based in Toulouse, France.
Overview
Join the Certification and Airworthiness team in Toulouse and become the architect of airworthiness compliance for our helicopters. As a Certification & Qualification Engineer (CQE), you spearhead the entire process, ensuring that every new design change respects the stringent airworthiness requirements (FAR29/CS29).

Challenges
- Certification Strategy: Define and establish the Certification Program (CP) by identifying the applicable certification basis and the necessary Means of Compliance for each project.
- Cross‑Functional Project Leadership: Coordinate high‑level stakeholders such as Chief Engineering, System Design Responsibles, Experts, Customer Support, Flight Test Pilots & Engineers, and ensure harmonization of the strategy with all relevant Certification Verification Engineers.
- Management and Deployment: Plan, manage and track the progress of compliance activities. Resolve roadblocks and ensure on‑time delivery of certifications.
- Official Validation: Review and release all compliance documentation, consolidate the results of the compliance demonstration, and declare compliance at the helicopter level.
- DOA Approval: Exercise the Design Organization Approval privilege for the approval of design changes.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in engineering, ideally in aerospace certification (FAR29/CS29 and/or FAR25/CS25 knowledge is a major asset).
- Proven ability to lead projects and manage multiple interfaces.
- Rigor, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities.
