Head of AI Enablement
You join a team to build, reporting directly to Julien (CEO). From day one, you work with Steve, an IT & systems profile, who will support you on execution. You will interact daily with Aurore (Deputy CEO / Chief People), François (CTO) and the heads of the various business teams.
The team is small by design: 2 to 3 people max, with a real cross-functional mandate. You will also have access to on-demand technical resources for projects that require it.
UpSlide has three urgent workstreams with no clear ownership today: AI is being deployed in a scattered way with no real end-to-end optimisation, Systems are poorly implemented and the team is doing low-value work instead of strategic missions, and the software budget (~€1.1M) is growing without governance. The root cause is structural: no senior person owns "how we work" across the company. Your role is to be that person: structure, deploy, drive adoption.
A clean boundary exists with RevOps: they own the commercial stack (Salesforce, enrichment, sales enablement). You own everything else - HR systems, AI tooling, company-wide software governance, internal automations. You collaborate on the rationalisation but you set the rules.
Your missions
AI tooling rollout (~50%)
- You lead the selection of UpSlide's AI platform (target: decision by end of Q3 2026) and its company-wide deployment in Q4.
- You train teams, support adoption business unit by business unit, and iterate until it's genuinely used.
Systems & tooling projects (~30%)
- You drive the implementation and optimisation of business tools based on company priorities, including rebuilding HR systems in partnership with the future Head of People.
Software rationalisation (~20%)
- You lead a full audit of UpSlide's tools, set a governance framework (validation process, consolidation, contract negotiation) and reduce identified overlaps (~€1.1M budget).
- 3 months: software audit complete, AI needs mapped by team, first quick wins visible.
- 6 months: AI platform selected, HR systems project launched, software governance in place.
- 9 months: AI deployed company-wide, HR systems rebuilt, rationalisations active with measurable savings.
If you deliver on this mandate, the scope will naturally evolve: IT resources, broader remit, and a senior ops role to build together in 12 to 18 months. At UpSlide, we support career growth through a clear career ladder and regular training.
Who we're looking for:
- You have at least 7 years of experience in tech environments (SaaS, startups, scale-ups).
- You have already deployed AI at scale in an organisation: you've done the full cycle (needs analysis, platform selection, build, training, iteration). The tool doesn't matter, the cycle does. You're genuinely excited about AI — already using it in your own work, with real opinions about deployment strategy.
- You are technically fluent: APIs, integrations, no-code/low-code. You have rebuilt or implemented an operational system (HRIS or equivalent). You're not an engineer, but you roll up your sleeves.
- You have led a software stack rationalisation: audit, consolidation, negotiation. You know how to set governance that holds in a multi-team organisation.
- You can bring non-technical teams along in both French and English: train, support, iterate with business teams. Product mindset for deployment.
Recruitment process
- TAS screening with Sihem (30'): general fit discussion, context overview.
- Interview with Julien (CEO) (45'): manager interview, role vision, understanding of business needs.
- Case study (2h): to prepare in our office with Aurore (Deputy CEO) and Manon (Head of People)
We will conduct a reference check to support your onboarding!
