  • Designing and developing electronic solutions (definition, sizing, and qualification), including electrical and thermal calculations, SPICE simulations, proof‑of‑concept development, MTTF calculations, while considering all requirements and applicable standards
  • Developing proof of concepts and prototypes
  • Writing firmware (MCU programming)
  • Independently developing and fine‑tuning both hardware and software components
  • Contributing to PCB layout design
  • Pre‑qualifying developed products (electrical, environmental, and EMC testing)
  • Writing calculation notes and test/simulation reports for developed hardware and software functions
  • Contributing to product FMEA
  • Participating in SIL or SSIL project development
  • Documenting research work (functional descriptions, experiments, etc.)
  • Leading certain development‑phase projects with a strong electronics focus

Desired profile

You hold a Master’s degree (Engineering degree or MSc) in electronics and industrial computing and have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.

You are characterized by:

  • Rigor and attention to detail

Technical skills

Minimum 5 years of experience in hardware electronics development based on microcontrollers (MCU).

Strong knowledge of:

  • Analog and mixed electronics (operational amplifiers, filters, oscillators, SPI, I2C, UART interfaces, ADC, DAC, etc.)
  • Electronic testing and validation (electrical, EMC, environmental testing, SPICE simulations)
  • C programming for 8‑bit and 32‑bit MCUs (experience with MPLAB X IDE and/or STM32 IDE is required)
  • Experience in the rail sector is an advantage

Due to the international scope of the group and the role, an intermediate level of English (B2) is required.
