Your mission

You will join our Growth Team and work collaboratively with Thomas the growth engineer team lead within the Marketing website squad.

We are looking for a talented full stack software engineer whose main mission will be to:

  • Global Scaling: Build and refine the infrastructure supporting our internationalization (multi-language, localized user journeys…)
  • Intelligent Automation: Design and deploy AI-driven tools and automated workflows to streamline lead acquisition and personalize user experiences at scale.
  • Tracking & Insights: Implement and enhance sophisticated visitor tracking systems to turn raw data into actionable growth levers.
  • Ecosystem Connectivity: Design and develop robust APIs to ensure seamless data flow between our internal tools and the broader fintech ecosystem.
  • High-Velocity Experimentation: Launch needle-moving projects including A/B tests, white-label integrations, predictive lead scoring, and optimized acquisition funnels.
  • Performance Optimization: Maintain and push the limits of our public website and registration funnels for peak conversion across all markets.

Who are we looking for?

  • Experience: At least 2+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.
  • Tech Stack: Mastery of Ruby on Rails. Proficiency in a JS Framework (Vue/Nuxt) is a major plus.
  • Efficiency Obsession: You know how to leverage AI tools (LLMs, Copilots, etc.) and automation to move faster and smarter than the average dev.
  • Communication: Fluent in French & English (B2/C1). German is a bonus.
  • Adaptability: You are energized by an ever-shifting startup environment and love collaborating with diverse stakeholders (Data, Sales, Marketing).

Ideally you’ve already got some knowledge with data tools including data tools integration (GTM, Segment) or data visualization (Datastudio, Looker) and you’re familiar with digital marketing (paid acquisition, conversion, SEO…)

  • If you are based in France, you will have a French contract following French regulation on top of the additional perks: 6 to 12 RTT, 5 weeks PTOs, lunch credits (Swile), Alan Blue healthcare cover and regular events in cities where Pennylaners are mostly present (Lyon, Bordeaux, Nantes…)
  • We're working on providing those last advantages to our people based outside of France as well, but it can be quite more complex depending on different countries.
