Group Risk and Insurance Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Risk & Insurance Manager to drive Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), secure the Group insurance coverage, safeguard business continuity and Crisis Management (BPM) in an evolving environment. The role supports strategic decision‑making, protects enterprise value and strengthens the Group’s risk governance.

Your Missions

• Lead Risk Management Excellence: elevate the Enterprise Risk Management Framework and nurture a culture where every colleague is empowered to act as a risk manager.
• Insurance optimization: negotiate and adapt Group policies, and draft and review insurance provisions in business contracts.
• Champion Business Continuity: oversee design and implementation of robust continuity and crisis plans to keep critical operations running at all times.

About The Team

Within the Legal & Compliance department, the Insurance team operates in a highly international environment, collaborating with approximately 20 colleagues worldwide. You will work closely with multiple business lines, maintain strong relationships with external insurance brokers, and manage and monitor insurance claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Risk Management
  • Shape and maintain the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
  • Empower risk owners in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks.
  • Prepare risk reporting for management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Group policies.
  • Build a risk culture through training and communication initiatives.
• Insurance Management
  • Negotiate, draft, and review insurance provisions in business contracts.
  • Coordinate the Group insurance program with brokers and insurers.
  • Manage policies, monitor premiums, issue certificates, and update information.
  • Oversee Group claims across professional liability, property damage, transport, etc.
  • Integrate cyber and technology risks into the enterprise risk management framework.
• Business Continuity & Crisis Management
  • Develop and maintain Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
  • Maintain BCM policies aligned with industry best practices.
  • Lead crisis management framework including simulation exercises and coordination during crisis situations.

Qualifications - Required

• Bachelor’s degree in risk management, insurance or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in risk management and insurance.
• Deep expertise in COSO ERM and BCM standards.
• Ability to analyze data and leverage insights for risk decision‑making.
• Strong negotiation and drafting skills for insurance provisions.
• Proven project management experience, driving cross‑functional initiatives to completion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Management skills: demonstrate strong leadership and ability to guide direct reports.
• Analytical mindset with talent for simplifying complex topics.
• Ability to engage senior leadership and external stakeholders.
• Fluent in French and English (written and verbal).

Preferred

• Professional certification in Risk Management or BCM (e.g., CEFAR).
