Reporting to the Global PR Director, the Global PR Manager is responsible for shaping and executing Zimmermann’s global press strategy, reinforcing the brand’s desirability, visibility, and luxury positioning across key markets.
This role combines strategic leadership with operational excellence, ensuring a cohesive 360° approach across PR, and marketing initiatives.
- Define and implement the global PR strategy across all markets, in alignment with brand vision and business objectives
- Develop global guidelines and communication frameworks for all launches, ensuring consistency and elevation across regions
- Drive press amplification across Tier 1 global and local media, securing impactful editorial visibility
- Lead the development and execution of the Global PR calendar, ensuring alignment with marketing, and commercial priorities
- Work in close partnership with the VIP Manager and Marketing teams to ensure fully integrated 360° campaigns
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align storytelling across press, talent, digital, and brand activations
- Ensure all initiatives—from runway to retail—are supported by strong PR narratives and media strategies
Markets & Agency Management
- Coordinate and guide external PR, showroom, and VIP agencies across key markets (US, France, UK, Italy, Spain, AU, APAC)
- Manage day-to-day relationships with agencies, ensuring strategic alignment, performance, and consistency of execution
- Support markets in driving local press opportunities and event amplification
Press Assets & Content Management
- Oversee the distribution of PR assets (press releases, toolkits, guidelines)
- Ensure timely sharing of on-message PR, and influencer-generated content with internal Digital teams
- Maintain and archive editorial coverage and PR materials
- Manage and update global media and distribution lists
Samples & Showroom Management
- Oversee global PR and VIP sample trafficking: annual planning, in-season requests, timely deliveries, and returns
- Partner with the PR assistant to ensure smooth logistics and optimal sample visibility across markets
Events & Brand Activations
- Work in close partnership with the Event Manager and Marketing teams to lead PR planning across key brand moments: runway shows, store openings, seasonal presentations, editor dinners, retail activations, and collaborations
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless execution and strong media impact
- Support international press trips and institutional brand events
Budget & Operations
- Monitor and manage the global PR budget, ensuring efficient allocation across markets and initiatives
- Oversee agency invoicing and financial tracking
- Consolidate and manage global media discount lists in partnership with agencies
Your profile
- Minimum 8 years of experience in PR within luxury fashion.
- Proven experience managing PR agencies, partnerships, and brand collaborations.
- Deep understanding of global cultural and digital landscapes; curious, intuitive, and trend-sensitive.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English.
- Highly organized, creative, and agile — able to balance artistic vision with strategic execution.
- A natural connector, collaborative by nature, and inspired by the idea of building a Zimmermann PR network.
