Global Head of Data Platform Solutions
The Global Head of Data Platform Solutions is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Data Platform, Data Ingestion and Data Engineering solutions. This leader will drive the technical and strategic roadmap, and deploy resources in an agile at scale way for business service delivery that requires data platform solutions. The role requires deep expertise in enterprise software delivery, modern deployment methodologies, and leading geographically distributed teams.
What you’ll be doing
- Develop and execute a global delivery strategy at scale of data platform solutions, Data Ingestion Solutions and Data Engineering solutions for BI services and Data Science Services
- Lead delivery execution across multiple, complex, distributed technology environments.
- Oversee planning, development, integration, and large-scale deployment of automation (including agentic automation) for data ingestion and data engineering.
- Manage and scale delivery teams, ensuring strong alignment between onshore and offshore engineering, architecture, and data and analytics service teams.
- Ensure robust governance over program delivery, solution cost, and solutions architecture.

- Collaborate with internal technology leaders and business sponsors to ensure alignment with global strategy and local market needs.
- Actively contribute to the investment planning process and ensure strong reporting and transparency on investment needs and operating costs.
- Continuously monitor industry trends to incorporate best practices and innovations.
- Manage, optimize, and report on budget and expenses, with transparency on maintenance and running costs of the solution(s).
- Line manager of assigned resources.
- Participate in the approval process for deployment projects in line with the overall group governance.
- Ensure the right approvals for the contracts with vendors in line with the overall IT governance
About you
Work Experience
- Minimum 15 years of experience in IT and digital delivery roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
- Proven experience managing large-scale technical programs in complex distributed systems.
- Deep understanding of modern data and AI platforms and solutions.
- Demonstrated success in managing global delivery teams and offshore development models.
- Strong vendor and stakeholder management experience, including contract governance.
Education
University degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent experience
