SAP Engineering Manager(f/m/d)
Our Tech Leadership Team is looking for an SAP Engineering Manager based in Lille.
We are a core team driving the technological vision and delivery excellence across Decathlon Digital. We aim to scale our product teams' impact globally by defining and maintaining best practices in product development, technical governance, and people development. We are hiring to strengthen our capacity to empower our growing number of engineering squads (currently 30+ teams ) and ensure the consistency and quality of our technical products. HELP THE CANDIDATE PROJECT THEMSELVES IN THE DECATHLON ENVIRONMENT
You will be responsible for leading and developing a squad of 10 to 12 engineers by defining the technology vision, creating the team roadmap, and ensuring the high-quality, timely delivery of the product requirements in accordance with our governance metrics. You will be the primary link between the organizational vision and your team's day-to-day activities, focused on both technical outcomes and the growth of your teammates.
You will be a part of the Engineering Leadership team of Supply Chain domain focussed on Downstream Inventory Planning (CAC, CAR, Stores), Stock management and Order management for different business models including B2B, B2C, Franchise, Wholesale..,
TECHNICAL STACK
- Experience with developing high quality features on SAP systems like FNR, ECC, FMS, OAA . Language in use : ABAP (both procedural and OO), Fiori skills are nice to have .
- Full knowledge of SD, MM customizing, ATP process
- Familiarity with SAP modern software development practices (OData services, CDS, CleanCore concept, Kafka and APIs ).
- Knowledge of Data Governance, Tech Governance frameworks, Flow exchanges best practices
Your recent experiences have enabled you to develop a strong interest in people development and technology leadership while consolidating your knowledge in software engineering and technical strategy .

- Product & Business Acumen: Ability to assess and refine product ideas, define KPIs, and align technical feasibility with business goals (Evidence-based decision making, Market Analysis).
- Delivery Management: Expertise in creating and managing technical roadmaps, influencing stakeholders, and ensuring delivery within technical, financial, and organizational constraints (Roadmap, Project Management, Budget & Cost Management).
- Continuous Improvement: A commitment to operational excellence and the adoption of modern agile methodologies.
- Fluent French and professional English
