Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications
- 4+ years of progressive experience in event management, preferably with exposure to large‑scale and international events
- Experience managing complex events across multiple regions or countries
- Experience leading and supporting cross‑functional and multicultural teams
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Previous experience working with multi‑national companies
- Ability to influence others, encourage teamwork, and build strong internal and external relationships, including agency partners
- Understanding of our brand and event strategy
Key Responsibilities
- Event Planning and Strategy – work with the global brand experience head to align event strategies with organizational goals, identify objectives, target audiences, and KPIs, and coordinate with marketing, sales, and other departments to ensure alignment with brand messaging and business objectives.
- Event Logistics and Execution – oversee all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, travel arrangements, accommodation, and on‑site management; coordinate event setup, registration, and attendee management; ensure compliance with local regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
- Budget Management – prepare and manage event budgets, secure favorable terms with vendors, venues, and suppliers, monitor expenses, and provide regular budget reports to stakeholders.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Coordination – source and manage relationships with global vendors, collaborate with internal teams and external partners, and manage contracts.
- Marketing and Promotion – develop and execute event marketing plans to maximize attendance and engagement using digital marketing, social media, and traditional channels; collaborate with content teams to create event materials.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration – lead and coordinate cross‑functional teams, provide guidance and support to regional event managers and coordinators, and foster a collaborative environment for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Global Coordination – manage events across multiple regions, ensuring cultural sensitivity and localization, align global initiatives with local market needs, coordinate resources and stakeholders, and facilitate effective communication with agencies.
- Team Management – oversee the internship program, ensuring interns receive a structured, engaging, productive experience aligned with organizational goals.
