About The Role

GEOBOX AG provides GIS software solutions for efficient planning and reliable documentation of infrastructure and utility facilities of all kinds. Leveraging cutting-edge technology, high-quality standards, and deep domain expertise, we deliver effective solutions and services tailored to the Swiss GIS and CAD market. We are looking for a GIS Talent with Development Prospects (80–100%) in Winterthur, to start by agreement.

Your Responsibilities

Implement client projects for the deployment and operation of GIS software in the fields of official surveying and utility infrastructure registries (e.g., installation, data migration, interface configuration, map visualization, and other GIS components)

Document software requirements and test new versions for quality assurance

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout project execution

Provide day-to-day user support via our helpdesk hotline

Share your expertise through seminars, workshops, and webinars

Your Ideal Profile

Proven experience in client-facing roles, with initiative and strong communication skills

Meticulous, goal-oriented, and reliable work ethic

Analytical, structured, and conceptual thinking; ability to quickly grasp complex technical issues

Formal training and practical experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

Proficiency with INTERLIS data models, validation services, and data conversion

Familiarity with documentation processes in official surveying and/or utility infrastructure registries

Solid IT competencies

Fluent German (written and spoken); knowledge of other Swiss national languages is an advantage
