GIS Consultant – Administration and Operation of a Spatial Data Infrastructure (M/F)

As part of the expansion of our GIS business, we are seeking a GIS Consultant to join our teams in Nantes and work on a major project in the field of spatial data infrastructure.

As part of a team specializing in geomatics, you will be involved in the administration, operation, and development of a spatial data infrastructure (SDI) .

You contribute to the smooth operation of the GIS platform, the publication and dissemination of geographic data, and the provision of user support.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Administer and operate a Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) ;
• Administer and manage Portal for ArcGIS and ArcGIS Server services;
• Ensure the publication and availability of geographic data and services;
• Design, maintain, and manage FME processes ;
• Participate in the validation of technical installation procedures (TIPs);
• Conduct qualification and validation activities for technical changes;
• Provide user support and assist in resolving incidents;
• Help analyze and improve operational processes;
• Prepare technical documentation: DAT, DEX, meeting minutes, user guides, and operational documents ;
• Liaise with the various technical and business stakeholders involved in the project.

You will work in an environment where data quality, processing reliability, and the availability of GIS services are key priorities.

Profile required

With a college degree in geomatics, GIS, computer science, or an equivalent field , you have significant experience (at least 5 years) in the administration or operation of GIS platforms.

Ideally, you have already worked with ArcGIS Enterprise, Portal for ArcGIS, and ArcGIS Server environments and have a good understanding of the challenges involved in publishing and managing geographic data.

Proficiency in FME Form is a real asset for success in this position.

You are also comfortable working with geographic databases, particularly PostgreSQL , and ideally have knowledge of Python or process automation.

Experience in administering GIS infrastructure, operating ArcGIS platforms, or managing FME workflows will be particularly valued.
