Fund Controller Private Equity (M/F) Fixed Term
JOB DESCRIPTION
Edmond de Rothschild Private Equity (EDRPE) is a business line of the Group that manages over CHF 3.5 billion of private assets in Private Equity, Infrastructure and Real Estate.

THE ROLE
In the context of an ambitious transformation and development plan, EDRPE is looking to hire a Fund Controller to reinforce its Operations team. The Fund Controller will be part of the Middle Office team in charge of daily management of EDRPE funds. The position reports directly to the EDRPE Head of Operations and is located in Paris.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Management of the relationship with key internal and external stakeholders: investment team, central administration and depositary, legal and tax advisors, auditors, accountants.
- Production or oversight of statutory reporting, investor reporting, board papers, consolidation, NAV calculations, Capital Account Statements, income distribution calculations, income tax and VAT returns.
- Cash management, invoicing and provisions calculation.
- Ensuring that appropriate records are maintained for entities and underlying assets.
- Oversight of provision of services by third‑party service providers.
- Transaction support for acquisitions, including setup of investment structures in accordance with tax advice, creation of new entities and close liaison with the investment team to ensure transaction closing is achieved as planned.
- Operational support as required for the set‑up of new vehicles and structures, working with our Structuring, Legal and Tax departments, external advisors and Investment teams.
REQUIRED PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS
EdRPE seeks to hire individuals who work well in a team‑driven environment, are highly motivated, intelligent, and have a strong work ethic with demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition to strong analytical and project‑management skills and creativity, the successful candidate must have:
- 3 to 5 years of work experience in the financial industry – ideally as a fund controller in a private assets management company or as an auditor for a Big 4.
- Highly structured, rigorous and committed.
- Highly motivated (self‑starter).
- Fluency in English and French.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Power Query, Power BI).
- Knowledge of eFront, Salesforce and AtomInvest (or similar portfolio management tool) is a strong plus.
- Ability to multi‑task and execute a wide range of assignments, often under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Operate with the highest level of integrity, motivation and confidentiality.
- Masters in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Management or Audit.
