EPM Scientific are currently partnered with a leading pharmaceutical company who are seeking a Freelance Medical Science Liaison to support their Infectious Disease studies in France. See a short summary below:
Project Overview

• Therapeutic Area(s): Infectious Disease & ICU
• Location: South & West France
• Contract: Freelance - 6 Month Initial Contract
• Start Date: ASAP
• Language Requirements: French, English

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain trusted relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, clinical investigators, and other healthcare professionals.
• Serve as a reliable source of unbiased, up-to-date scientific and medical information in infectious disease areas. Working with first-line antibiotics.
• Collect and communicate strategic insights from scientific exchanges to inform research and commercial strategy.
• Support clinical trial activities including site feasibility, initiation visits, and patient recruitment strategies.
• Represent external expert perspectives internally and identify opportunities for collaborative research or strategic partnerships.
• Apply strategic thinking and prioritization to maximize impact while ensuring compliance with all relevant medical affairs policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Strong experience (5+ years preferred) in Medical Affairs, ideally within Infectious Disease/Infectiology.
• Advanced degree in life sciences, medicine, or pharmacy.
• Strong understanding of infectious diseases in ICU patients.
• Ability to work independently in a freelance capacity, with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Willingness to travel within France for field visits and scientific engagement.
