Job Title — Medical Science Liaison (MSL), Lung Oncology — IDF_EST region
Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specialized in Lung Oncology, covering a part of the IDF and the EST regions. This role will act as the regional scientific lead in the field and build strong scientific partnerships to optimize patient care.
Objective
Provide accurate scientific and medical information to healthcare professionals in the therapeutic area.
Develop and maintain scientific partnerships that support optimal patient management.
Represent the medical department locally and support the implementation of medical strategy in the field.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver relevant scientific and medical information (clinical data, health economics, development and environmental data, guidelines, etc.) to experts and healthcare professionals through one-to-one meetings, medical staff, and digital channels.
Communicate medical content in alignment with the medical strategy and appropriate use of medicines.
Support early access programs for new medicines, advising healthcare professionals on appropriate use within Temporary Use Authorizations and related recommendations.
Record and track all activities and requests in the CRM system.
Map patient pathways within the regional healthcare system.
Act as the Medical Affairs representative on the Regional Operational Committee.
Collect and report trends and insights in the therapeutic area to the Regional Operational Committee and Medical Leadership.
Serve as a key contact for regional opinion leaders for their medical projects.
Organize regional medical education events consistent with the national medical plan and regional priorities; support preparation of presentations (literature searches, data sourcing) and ensure scientific and ethical validity of content. Facilitate events when required.
Organize and lead regional scientific committees in collaboration with the headquarters medical team.
Support coordination of regional clinical studies (epidemiological, health-economic, real-world evidence).
Identify research centers and activities in the region.
Maintain and manage scientific knowledge: bibliographies, congress activity, field immersions, etc.
Hold medical responsibility for activities in the region and ensure scientific quality and ethical standards in line with company compliance rules.
Provide medical support to pharmacovigilance teams as needed.
