France Sales area manager
Job Description
The France Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales performance, leading and developing the local commercial team, and executing the sales strategy across the assigned area. This role will play a critical part in strengthening our market presence, expanding our customer base, and ensuring the achievement of our commercial objectives.
Main Tasks
- Develop and deliver the country sales budget, ensuring strong alignment with commercial objectives and driving sustainable revenue growth.
- Optimize Gross Profit (GP) and IFO performance through proactive analysis and effective adjustment of sales activities.
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities, translating insights into targeted local sales strategies aligned with BGE’s commercial direction.
- Lead, motivate, and support the sales team to maximize performance and ensure consistent execution across the market.
- Maintain close and strategic collaboration with HQ teams (Marketing, Operations, Finance) to secure alignment and efficiency in all commercial initiatives.
- Organize and participate in regular sales meetings, ensuring clear communication, action planning, and performance follow‑up.
- Facilitate the exchange of best practices across markets to strengthen commercial excellence.
- Conduct joint customer visits with the sales team, providing in‑field support and ensuring a strong presence in the market.
- Build and manage relationships with key distributors and key accounts, including commercial negotiations and the development of international business opportunities.
Qualifications
- Proactive leadership with strong communication and people‑management skills.
- Solid background in B2B sales, business development, or commercial management.
- Strategic mindset combined with hands‑on execution capabilities.
- Ability to understand market dynamics and translate insights into action.
- Strong customer orientation and negotiation skills.
- French and English proficient.
- Higher education level.
- Online business experience.
