Founding UX Product Designer – User Researcher Lead

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end design process: from problem framing and concept exploration through wireframes, prototypes and polished UI.
• Design interactions for AI-native learning experiences.
• Maintain Raison's design system: components, tokens, patterns, and guidelines.
• Create high-fidelity prototypes for testing and stakeholder alignment.
• Work hand-in-hand with engineers to ensure what ships matches what was designed.
• Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative research.
• Build and maintain a deep understanding of our core users.
• Synthesize research into actionable insights.
• Champion the user's perspective in every product decision.
• Establish a continuous discovery practice so research is a foundational habit.
• Collaborate with the founders and engineering team to shape the product roadmap based on user evidence.
• Define and track UX metrics that reflect real learning outcomes and user satisfaction.

Requirements

• 4-8 years of experience in product design, UX design, or a hybrid design-research role.
• Previous experience on a learning platform is a huge plus.
• A strong portfolio that shows both craft and thinking.
• A skilled researcher who can design a study, run it, and turn messy qualitative data into clear direction.
• Comfortable designing for AI-driven and adaptive experiences.
• Excellent visual and interaction design skills.
• Autonomous and opinionated, but you hold your opinions loosely when the evidence says otherwise.
• Genuine curiosity about AI and education.
• Fluent in French and English (oral and written).
