Financing Manager
This role serves as the core financial support hub for the company’s European energy storage business, responsible for formulating and implementing financing strategies for energy storage projects, docking with local European banks, financial institutions and cooperative partners, and building and expanding local financial networks. You will coordinate the company’s internal financial resources and external cooperative channels to provide comprehensive financing solutions for European energy storage projects, ensure the smooth flow of project funds, control financial risks, and support the sustainable development and project landing of the company’s energy storage business in Europe. This position requires solid professional financial capabilities, rich local financial resources and cross-departmental coordination skills to meet the dual needs of business development and financial management.
Key Responsibilities
- Financing Strategy Formulation : Combine the company’s European energy storage business development plan and project needs, formulate targeted financing strategies and plans; research European energy-related financial policies, subsidy policies and financing tools, optimize financing structure, reduce financing costs, and improve financing efficiency.
- Local Financial Network Building : Establish and maintain close cooperative relationships with local European banks, financial institutions, investment institutions and other relevant parties; expand financing channels, accumulate high-quality financial resources, and provide strong support for project financing.
- Project Financing Implementation : Take charge of the whole process of energy storage project financing, including financing application, data preparation, negotiation with financial institutions, contract signing and fund withdrawal; follow up the progress of financing projects, solve problems encountered in the financing process in a timely manner, and ensure the smooth arrival of funds.
- Financial Risk Control : Conduct in-depth analysis and assessment of financing risks (including interest rate risk, credit risk, policy risk, etc.); formulate risk prevention and control measures, monitor the implementation of financing projects, and ensure the safety of company funds and the compliance of financing activities.
- Cross-departmental Coordination : Cooperate closely with the European regional business team, project management team, finance department and legal department to coordinate the connection of financing related work; provide professional financial advice and support for business decision-making, and promote the organic combination of business development and financial management.
- Financial Data & Report Compilation : Collect, sort out and analyze European energy storage project financing data, prepare financing reports, progress reports and risk analysis reports; timely report the financing situation to the superior leadership and relevant departments.
Job Requirements
- Education & Experience : Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Financial Management or related majors; minimum 5 years of working experience in corporate financing, project financing or financial management, with experience in European local financing or energy/new energy industry financing is highly preferred.
- Professional Competence : Profound knowledge of European financial policies, financing markets and financing tools; familiar with the whole process of project financing, proficient in financing application, negotiation and contract management; with existing local bank/financial institution networking resources in Europe is a must.
- Language Skills : Proficient in both Chinese and English (listening, speaking, reading and writing), capable of efficient cross-language communication, document preparation and business negotiation; proficiency in one or more European local languages (German, French, Italian, Spanish, etc.) is a strong plus.
- Soft Skills : Excellent communication, negotiation and resource integration skills; strong logical thinking, risk awareness and problem-solving ability; result-oriented, with high sense of responsibility, integrity and team awareness; able to adapt to cross-regional coordination work and bear certain work pressure.
- Others : Familiar with European energy storage industry development trends and related policies is preferred; able to travel appropriately in European countries to carry out financing related work.
