PV C&I French Speaking Area Sales Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced, results-oriented Commercial & Industrial (C&I) PV Sales Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for directly selling high-end PV modules and system solutions to commercial and industrial end-users (factories, warehouses, supermarkets, hotels, farms, etc.) within a designated region.

Your core objectives will be to develop new clients, manage the full sales cycle, exceed sales targets, and build long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently develop and manage the sales pipeline, actively identifying, screening, and engaging potential C&I clients.
  • Understand clients’ energy needs, electricity consumption patterns, and sustainability goals, and collaborate with internal teams to provide tailored PV system solutions.
  • Prepare and present professional technical and commercial proposals, including system design, energy yield simulations, ROI analysis, and financing options.
  • Lead contract negotiations, secure project agreements, and ensure a smooth handover to the project delivery team.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.
  • Establish strategic partnerships with local EPC contractors, engineering consultancies, and energy service companies to expand indirect sales channels.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of successful B2B sales experience in the European market; experience in photovoltaics, renewable energy, electrical engineering, or related sectors is preferred.
  • Languages: Fluent in English and French.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to quickly understand PV technology, system design, and financial models.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region (approximately 50%).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing network of commercial and industrial clients or relevant industry contacts.
  • Knowledge of PV project financing structures (PPA, leasing, loans, etc.) and European energy policies.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and solar design software (e.g., PVsol, Helioscope).
