Financial Modeling Expert | Remote

Position: Investment Banking Analyst Expert

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $140–$240/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Perform advanced valuation analyses including DCF (with WACC build), trading comparables, and precedent transaction analysis.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models such as integrated three-statement models, operating models, and 13-week cash flow forecasts.
• Build and refine deal models including LBO models and merger models with accretion/dilution analysis.
• Create specialized industry models such as sale-leaseback models, REIT conversions, and NAV-based analyses.
• Support bespoke transactions including spin-offs, carve-outs, IP licensing structures, and Reverse Morris Trust (RMT) transactions.
• Conduct deep-dive due diligence including unit economics, cohort analysis, and vertical-specific financial reviews.
• Present insights, financial analyses, and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong years of investment banking or private equity experience at a top-tier bank or equivalent buy-side role.
• Expert-level knowledge of valuation methodologies and complex financial modeling.
• Proven ability to build and stress-test deal models and industry-specific financial models.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in remote, globally distributed teams.
