Financial Controller - Plant Opex

We are looking for a senior cost controller to join Envision AESC France team to support the battery plant operation and development of a new world-class and innovative mass manufacturing Gigafactory.

Key responsibilities

• Cost control & removal : review and approve purchase requests. Proactively identify opportunities for cost savngs and challenge internal stakeholders on their spending habits.
• Perform cost monthly closing procedures independently and prepare managerial reporting for actual vs budget.
• Be business partner of operational team. lead monthly cost review meeting to track budget consumption and propose cost reduction.
• Operating expense budget and forecast following group instruction and local management’s requirements.
• Coordinate with global cost controlling functions and FP&A team in HQ/UK for various management review and ad hoc reporting.
• Analyze production procedure and find opportunities for cost KPI optimization.
• Participate in implementation/optimization of financial system and financial workflows.

Experience and skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. CMA/CPA preferred.
• At least 5 years’ experience in manufacturing expense or cost controlling, preferably in car or chemical products manufacturing industry.
• Experience in SAP FICO and Purchase process is a must.
• With multi-national company experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to fluently speak, read and write in English as a must.
