Job background
Reporting to the Finance and Administration Manager, you will contribute to the company’s financial performance monitoring and support operational teams in their decision-making. You will play an active role in budgeting, forecasting, and improving financial processes in a dynamic and growing environment.
Job details
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Support the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasts
- Monitor actual performance vs budget/forecast and analyze variances
- Prepare monthly reporting packages for management
- Track key financial and operational KPIs
- Contribute to financial modeling and ad hoc analyses
Business Partnering
- Work closely with operational teams to monitor budgets and costs
- Provide financial insights to support decision-making
- Participate in profitability and ROI analyses on projects
- Help non-finance stakeholders understand financial performance
Process & Tools Improvement
- Improve reporting tools and dashboards
- Contribute to the reliability and quality of financial data
- Participate in the optimization of financial systems (ERP, BI tools such as Power BI)
- Support ongoing automation and simplification of processes
R&D and Project Controlling
- Monitor R&D expenses and innovation projects
- Support the tracking of grants, subsidies, and tax credits (e.g., CIR)
- Analyze project costs and medium-term profitability
Required Qualifications, Experience, And Skills
Education and experience
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Business School, University, DSCG or equivalent)
- Around 5 years of experience in financial controlling, audit, or FP&A
- Experience in a tech, industrial, or fast-growing environment is a plus
- Good understanding of financial statements and controlling principles
Technical Skills
- Strong Excel skills (modeling, data analysis)
- Familiarity with ERP systems and BI tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Basic financial modeling and analytical capabilities
Soft Skills
Strong analytical skills and details orientation. Flexible to dynamic and fast changing environments. This person must have good communications skills and work well with non-finance teams. Good sense of autonomy. Poractive and hands-on attitude. Organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
Language Skills
- Fluent French and english.
