Job Summary

As a Site Financial Accountant at Boiken Developments, you will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of our construction and on sight projects. This role involves overseeing project budgets, conducting financial analysis, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. You will work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure financial performance aligns with company goals and project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor project expenditures, identifying variances between actual and budgeted figures, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and improve project profitability.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly accounts, project financial statements, and cash flow projections.
• Implement financial controls and compliance with Boiken Developments’s financial policies and procedures.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, providing necessary information and support during audits.
• Collaborate with procurement and contract management teams to ensure financial integrity in vendor and subcontractor agreements.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to project and senior management teams.
• Support the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems within the project environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in financial management within the construction, engineering, or related industry.
• Strong understanding of construction accounting, project budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
