Finance Transformation Specialist - Reporting & Planning
Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Finance Transformation Specialist – Reporting & Planning (f/m) to join the Finance Department based in Marignane, France. The Marignane site, near Marseille and Aix-en-Provence, is undergoing a deep transformation to offer a high-tech, inclusive, and environmentally friendly working environment. You will help shape the future of aeronautics and protect lives during missions flown with our helicopters.
Your future missions
This role supports Finance processes and system execution and transformation journey at Airbus Helicopters. You will contribute to projects focused on simplification, harmonisation, standardisation and innovation, maintain digital assets, implement new technologies and promote new ways of working with end‑users.
Your role
To support Business Analysis
- Business Advisory & Innovation: develop and promote digital excellence and a culture of innovation.
- Requirements management: gather, analyse and document business requirements through workshops, interviews and surveys with finance professionals.
- Process optimisation: identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance efficiency and reduce costs, often dealing with SAP S4H, SAP MDG, Celonis, BI solutions and RPA implementation.
- Solution benchmark & design: evaluate potential solutions, assess feasibility and align with business goals; create detailed functional specifications and use cases.
- Data crunching & analysis: analyse financial data to uncover trends and patterns, define the data and reporting needs for new systems; ensure data accuracy, integrity and compliance with regulations; work with Palantir, SAP SAC, Power BI, BW4H.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): define and execute UAT using JIRA to ensure all business requirements are met.
- Change management activities: support business teams with digital culture, training, live support and participation in business meetings.
To lead project & animate digital community
- Portfolio management: review project requests, prepare one‑pager for prioritisation and deliver business cases.
- Project planning & execution: develop comprehensive project plans with scope, timelines, budgets and resource allocation; oversee the project from initiation to completion.
- Stakeholder management: primary point of contact for all stakeholders, manage expectations, communicate progress and resolve conflicts.
- Risk and issue management: identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies; track and resolve issues.
- Project leadership and coordination: lead and motivate a cross‑functional team (business analysts, developers, QA testers, finance experts) and coordinate work in an Agile scrum environment.
- Change management: work closely with the business to manage organisational change accompanying new systems and processes, ensuring user adoption through communication, training and support.
What you need to make real, what matters
- Leadership and social competencies.
- Proficient in English.
- Work experience in an international environment and with large complex organisations or consulting firms.
- Knowledge of Finance (Accounting, Controlling, Treasury, Tax), compliance and audit business processes.
- In‑depth experience in digital and SAP landscape; leading large scale projects in reporting, advanced analytics, planning/EPM implementations and related finance or manufacturing systems.
- Strong interest in new digital technologies and new ways of working.
- Experience leading digital project teams, managing project portfolios and running multiple initiatives in parallel.
- University degree.
