Finance Specialist

We’re on the lookout for a Finance Specialist to join our dynamic Paris Lounge Network team.

Purpose of Role

Participate in the region's financial operations, ensuring accurate accounting and compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct an examination of financial figures associated with lounge operations, focusing on areas such as income, expenses, and overall profitability.
• Manage relations and negotiations with financial institutions for financing requirements.
• Supervise the invoicing procedure for business clients, ensuring both accuracy and punctuality in billings.
• Handle the accounts payable for services provided by external vendors, guaranteeing timely and precise payment settlements.
• Oversee and manage the complete set of financial accounts for the organization.
• Conduct reconciliation of transitory (clearing) accounts, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations, including those related to clients and vendors.
• Engage in regular monthly communications with customers to facilitate efficient collection processes.
• Prepare a biweekly schedule of payments, organizing and prioritizing payment processes.
• Gather and process vendor invoices for payment and record‑keeping.
• Generate and dispatch month‑end invoices to customers in a timely manner.
• Regulate monthly, quarterly, and yearly tax returns prepared by a local outsourcing company.
• Conduct detailed analyses on General Ledger accounts during the pre‑closing phase.
• Provide support in the preparation of monthly financial reports and analyses, including consolidated financial statements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• A total of at least 3 years of total and functionally similar experience
• Experience in budget and financial reporting, chart of accounts, and finance related tasks
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced and multicultural environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Native in French / Professional proficiency in English written and spoken
• Experienced in MS Office applications, ERP applications (preferably Oracle/SAP/SAGE/CEGID will be a plus)
