Finance Manager

La Bonne Brosse, in a few words

La Bonne Brosse is a fast-growing French hairbrush and haircare accessories brand, sold across France and internationally (Europe, North America). We're on track to reach €32m in revenue in 2026, and we're looking for a Finance Manager to join our CFO and help build the finance function from the ground up.

The role

You'll work hand in hand with our CFO on a daily basis, across everything from accounting to strategic finance. This is a role for someone who wants real ownership early on — and who's excited to grow into more senior responsibilities as the company (and the finance team) scales.

Accounting & Financial Planning

• Oversee general accounting in coordination with our external accountant
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Monitor cash flow and build cash forecasts

Controlling & Reporting

• Build and maintain dashboards (margin, profitability by channel/country, logistics cost tracking)
• Analyze costs (production, freight, 3PL) and identify optimization opportunities
• Produce monthly reporting for the CFO and management
• Build budgets and run variance analysis (budget vs. actual)

Business Partnering

• Act as a finance point of contact for other teams at La Bonne Brosse (commercial, operations, logistics)
• Support vendor negotiations (logistics, freight) with data-driven analysis
• Help teams across the company make informed, finance-backed decisions

Strategic Finance

• Support the CFO on strategic projects: M&A opportunities, fundraising and financing events
• Contribute to financial modeling for new markets, new partnerships, and growth scenarios
• Help prepare materials for investors and financial partners

What we are looking for

• Master's degree (business school, finance/management university track, or equivalent)
• 2-3 years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, audit, or an accounting firm
• Excellent command of Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, financial modeling)
• Rigorous, autonomous, and comfortable building things from scratch
• Strong interpersonal skills, as you'll work with non-finance stakeholders across the company
• Professional English (regular exchanges with international vendors and partners)
• An interest in DNVB / e-commerce / retail is a plus
