Sales Manager - Freight Forwarding (Air, Ocean & Road)

The Opportunity
An ambitious and fast-growing international freight forwarder is looking to hire an experienced Sales Manager to drive commercial growth across France. With strong investment behind them and expanding operations across Europe, this is an opportunity to join a business in scale-up mode with genuine career progression.
You will play a key role in developing new business, managing strategic accounts, and building a high-performing sales pipeline across air, ocean, and road freight solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business development across the French market, targeting key industries (industrial, retail, automotive, pharma, etc.)
- Build and execute a strategic sales plan in line with company growth objectives
- Identify, win, and develop medium to large BCO clients
- Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, solution design, negotiation, and closing
- Collaborate with operations and pricing teams to deliver tailored logistics solutions
- Develop and grow key accounts , ensuring long-term partnerships and revenue expansion
- Provide accurate sales forecasting and pipeline reporting
- Represent the business at industry events and strengthen market presence
Profile Requirements
- Proven track record in freight forwarding sales (air & ocean essential; road freight beneficial)
- Strong hunter mentality with a consistent record of new business wins
- Existing network across the French logistics market (Paris or Lyon preferred)
- Commercially driven with the ability to sell solutions, not just rates
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain and forwarding operations
- Fluent in French and English
- Highly motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to join a growing organisation
