(FINANCE) IT CONTROLLING INTERN W/M

As an IT Controlling Intern in the IT Budget and Controlling Team, you will support the financial operations and management of IT resources. We are seeking a proactive and bilingual intern (English and French) with a background in IT, administration, and finance to support our IT Controlling team. This role offers a unique opportunity to explore the integration of emerging technologies in our processes while gaining hands‑on experience in data management and reporting.

Missions

Participation to the testing and the validation of a new time tracking tool

• Participate in testing time tracking and provide feedback for improvements.

Set up new Reports from the data available in the tool

• Produce monthly staff reports from the time tracking tool.
• Develop and refine reports using PowerBI to support strategic decision-making.
• Control and validate reports to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

Maintain the data integrity

• Monitor and control time tracking data to maintain data integrity.

Explore new axes of improvements

• Automate reporting processes to increase efficiency and reduce manual workload (possible way of automation by using PowerAutomate).
• Investigate the application of AI and agentic approaches in our environment.

Required Skills

• Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like PowerBI and automation tools like PowerAutomate.
• Basic understanding of AI technologies and their potential applications.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills in both French and English.

Nice To Have

• Knowledge of Power BI.
• Familiarity with accounting, financial reporting and budgeting processes.
• Prior internship or project experience in data management, reporting, IT controlling, or finance is preferred but not mandatory.
• Exposure to AI technologies, data governance practices, or financial analysis is a plus.
