Finance Director

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure effective financial management, internal control, and compliance with local regulations and Group policies.
• Manage the overall financial operations of the company, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and financial analysis while ensuring adherence to internal control processes.
• Monitor and analyze key financial metrics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement while maintaining a high level of ethics and compliance.
• Provide strategic financial advice to the senior management team, supporting decision‑making and ensuring alignment with the company's financial goals.
• Collaborate with various departments, including Sales, Marketing, and Operations, to provide financial insights and support business initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial regulations, and reporting requirements while implementing internal control processes according to Group policies.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, collaboration, and a strong commitment to ethics and compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• MBA or CPA qualification preferred.
• Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally as a Finance Director or Controller.
• Strong understanding of French accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control processes.
• In‑depth knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement financial strategies, drive process improvements, and enhance financial performance while ensuring compliance and internal control.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to partner with cross‑functional teams.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in Distribution or a similar industry would be advantageous.
• Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken.
