Having reached profitability in our core market, we’re now scaling globally, with a strong focus on the US. It’s still day 1, come build the future of shopping with us!

Our Finance team

The Finance team ensures Joko’s financial health and long-term success. We manage everything from financial planning and accounting to financing and cash management.

We make sure every euro is put to its best use. Working closely with all teams, we provide the insights and structure needed to scale efficiently.

You will report directly to Benjamin, our Finance Manager, and your work will be instrumental in supporting our growth in both France and the United States.

What You Will Do

As a Financial Analyst Intern, you will work hand‑in‑hand with the Finance Manager on a wide range of topics, across operations, reporting, modeling, and strategic projects. Your scope will be broad, demanding, and rich in learning opportunities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to the construction and optimization of financial models and internal tools;
  • Taking part in cross‑functional projects with other teams and in the preparation of internal or external audits;
  • Supporting the preparation of monthly financial reports and dashboards used by the executive team and investors;
  • Assisting in the preparation of our monthly and annual closing in coordination with our external accountant;
  • Participating in tax compliance processes (e.g. VAT, CFE, payroll‑related taxes) and interacting with external stakeholders (accountants, auditors, tax advisors);
  • Monitoring invoicing and cash position, and helping ensure effective financial flows;
  • Helping with supplier management, cost tracking and contract analysis to improve our cost structure;
  • Taking ownership of recurring deliverables such as our monthly financial updates.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Education: You are currently enrolled in a top‑tier business or engineering school (or equivalent), with a strong interest in corporate finance, accounting, or financial strategy.
  • Experience: You have previous internship or project experience in finance, accounting, audit, consulting, VC/PE, or startups (a plus, not a must).
  • Analytical & technical skills: You are comfortable working with spreadsheets and ideally already worked on or built financial models. You have a good understanding of accounting principles.
  • Languages: You are fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Autonomy & mindset: You are rigorous, curious, and eager to learn. You enjoy working across topics and solving problems from the ground up.
  • Communication: You can communicate clearly and concisely, and enjoy collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Availability: You are in your final year of study and looking for a full‑time end‑of‑studies internship.
