Field Sales Representative France (Full time / Hybrid)

Role summary
The Field Representative is responsible for coordinating and leading in-store activation teams across France. They ensure successful implementation of commercial and marketing strategies while promoting cosmetic products to clients and retail partners.
Main responsibilities
B2B Relations
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with retailers.
- Follow up on retail inquiries and complaints.
- Act as the key point of contact between stores, agencies, and internal teams.
Operational Excellence
- Visit stores regularly to monitor stock levels and ensure visual merchandising standards are met.
- Monitor tester availability and maintenance locally with the support of the account team.
- Ensure strong product visibility and presentation in stores.
- Educate retail teams on product features, benefits, and upcoming activations.
- Ensure the successful execution of trade activations and promotional campaigns in stores.
Team Coordination
- Coordinate and supervise temporary in-store activation teams across France.
- Lead beauty advisors and promotional staff during trade activations.
- Manage and book staff for in-store animations in collaboration with temp agencies and retailer-related teams.
- Brief, support, and motivate beauty advisors and animation teams during promotional campaigns.
Planning and Floor Organization
- Negotiate and organize local events and in-store activities to motivate retailer staff (challenges, breakfasts, incentives, etc.).
- Coordinate activation schedules and ensure smooth operational execution.
- Ensure the right staffing levels according to store traffic, campaign priorities, and retailer expectations.
Objective Tracking and Reporting
- Analyse sales results of the BAs
- Implement corrective actions to achieve objectives.
- Report performance and retailer feedback to the Account Team and Education Team when necessary.
- Prepare monthly market and activity reports on trade activations, sales support, and competitor marketing assets.
- Track key performance indicators such as sell-out, store coverage, activation performance, merchandising quality, and retailer feedback.
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
- Experience in sales, field, or trade marketing within the cosmetics sector is a strong plus.
- Previous experience managing retail activations, beauty advisors, or agency staff is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook.
- Strong business acumen and proven ability to build client relationships.
- Strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate diverse teams.
- Comfortable with frequent travel and like to be on the road and have no problems travelling extensively
- Passion for beauty and previous experience in retail, hospitality, or service industries (2–3 years preferred).
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid French driving license (Category B).
Working Conditions
- Frequent travel required across France.
- Flexible working hours based on events, store openings, and commercial activities.
