Our client is a well-established international manufacturer of fastening and fixing solutions, with a strong reputation for innovation, quality, and customer-focused technical support. The company serves professional customers across the construction sector through a structured commercial organisation and a broad product portfolio.

Position Summary

You will be responsible for developing sales and expanding market presence within the Auvergne–Rhône-Alpes region. The role combines consultative field sales, relationship management, and hands‑on technical product promotion across key construction channels, including distributors, construction sites, and manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full sales cycle within the assigned territory, from prospecting and needs analysis to closing and follow‑up
  • Drive sales growth and product penetration across multiple customer channels (construction sites, distributors, manufacturers)
  • Plan and structure customer visits with clear objectives and measurable outcomes
  • Manage and develop an existing customer portfolio while actively acquiring new customers
  • Negotiate commercial terms including volumes, product introductions, shelf space, in‑store visibility, and merchandising solutions
  • Prepare quotations, track orders, and ensure smooth follow‑up from order intake to delivery
  • Conduct product demonstrations and communicate technical value, offers, guarantees, and promotions
  • Maintain accurate reporting of daily visits and customer activity in the ERP/CRM system
  • Review performance monthly to identify deviations, risks, and growth opportunities within the customer portfolio
  • Represent the company professionally and maintain a strong corporate image through excellent customer service
  • Deliver sales targets while optimising travel and operational costs

Candidate Profile

  • Proven field sales experience in a technical B2B environment (ideally construction‑related products, building materials, or technical components)
  • Strong customer focus with a proactive, results‑driven mindset
  • Ability to manage a sales territory independently and build long‑term relationships
  • Confident negotiation skills and ability to engage stakeholders at different levels
  • Valid driving licence and willingness to travel across the region
