Field Engineer ( BESS Solutions Maintenance expert)

Overview

Field Engineer ( BESS Solutions Maintenance expert). We are hiring a BESS Expert who can quickly and closely go to customer plant or office to solve technical issues or perform technical training.

We are looking for Field Engineers based in the following locations : Brest or cities close to Brest (1), Metz or cities close to Metz (1), in South France : Pau, Toulouse, Montpellier, Bordeaux, or cities around (4).

Responsibilities

• Field Maintenance & Trouble-shooting for BESS/Inverter/EV Charger/Data Center Facility
• Support and improve the knowledge of operational and business team for the following operations:

• Perform routine inspection and monitoring of plant
• Execute preventive maintenance
• Execute corrective maintenance including trouble-shooting & necessary spare parts replacement according to O&M contract with respect to the SLA & Availability Guarantee
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues
• Coordinate with Customer/EPC/O&M partner engineers for complex troubleshooting.

Partner Enablement

• Provide technical training to installers, subcontractors, partners

Delivery Quality control

• Conduct field audits for installation partners/subcontractors to ensure adherence to Huawei's technical standards.
• Carry out random site checks and issue quality deficiency reports as needed.

Requirements

• 4 years or more in Similar role in France.
• Skills and certifications to operate Low-voltage and Middle-voltage equipment (transformer, BESS, inverter, etc..)
• Capability of BESS maintenance and strong experience of BESS maintenance operations
• Field hands-on experiences on maintenance, trouble-shooting & commissioning for either Inverter or BESS is mandatory.
• Datacenter UPS/EV charger experiences are nice to have.
• Related Electrical certification are nice to ha ve.
