  • Build, execute and document Finite Elements Analysis Simulation studies using Abaqus from early feasibility through design verification.
  • Identify and develop first‑principles reasoning to predict product behavior and support design decisions.
  • Correlate simulation with test results, assess risks, and propose optimized or innovative modeling approaches.
  • Communicate analysis outcomes through clear technical reports and participate in design reviews.
  • Coordinate externally performed simulation work: define clear requirements, challenge assumptions, review deliverables, and ensure relevance and robustness.
  • Translate internal technical needs into structured simulation specifications for external partners.
  • Create 3D models supporting FEA and other simulation studies using SolidWorks.
  • Support functional dimensioning in line with ISO GPS / ISO 8015 in technical drawings, and tolerance analyses.
  • Understand and integrate DFM/DFA considerations, especially for molded parts and formed components.
  • Provide engineering support for existing products, design changes, investigations, and technology transfers.
  • Contribute to root cause analysis using test results, simulation, and statistical tools.
  • Follow internal quality procedures, design control requirements, and applicable safety and regulatory standards.

  • Practical experience with Abaqus, nonlinear FEA modeling and material characterization integration.
  • Understanding of tolerancing, ISO standards, and mechanical behavior.
  • Knowledge of metrology, manufacturing processes and statistical approaches (capability, R&R, DOE is a plus).
  • Familiarity with design control and engineering change processes.
  • Ability to translate needs into actionable simulation requirements and to challenge external work constructively.
  • Fluent French mandatory and professional English, including written technical documentation and participation in meetings.
