Fatigue & Damage Tolerance Lead Engineer for A330 / A380 / A400M (M/F)

Overview

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Fatigue & Damage Tolerance Lead Engineer (M/F) for the A330, A380, and A400M programs in Toulouse, France. The role is part of the Engineer Development Path, progressing from Engineer > Lead Engineer > Senior Engineer > Principal Engineer. The successful candidate will join the 1AFSK7 team within the transnational Fuselage Structures 1AFS and will be responsible for all F&DT stress activities across the three programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the F&DT activities for the defined scope across A330, A380, and A400M programs.
• Own all F&DT deliverables and ensure quality and performance for the scope mentioned.
• Organise and follow up activities with internal work‑floors and external suppliers and extended make.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (DOT leaders, Senior Engineers, CVE, Signators) and external stakeholders (suppliers, extended make, VSM, programme) to ensure quality and performance.
• Act as the key point of contact for DOT leaders for all scope‑related activities.
• Participate proactively in meetings, forums, and cross‑team initiatives to promote synergies across teams and programs.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Fatigue & Damage Tolerance.
• Good knowledge of LR programme.
• Knowledge of A380 and A400 programmes.
• Technical signatory experience is a plus.
• Fluency in French and good proficiency in English.
• Excellent communication skills.
